Free darshan is available during these hours. No ticket required. The queue moves steadily on normal days. On weekends and festivals, waiting time can exceed two hours.
For a faster experience, Seegra Darshan costs 150 rupees per person. Timings are 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This reduces waiting time significantly.
Athi Seegra Darshan costs 300 rupees per person. Faster than Seegra. Timings are the same. This is a good option for families with limited time.
VIP Darshan costs 500 rupees per person. This gives you a closer view of the deity inside the sanctum. The queue is very short. Waiting time is under 15 minutes.
For Goddess Bhramaramba Devi separately, Seegra Darshan costs 200 rupees. Athi Seegra Darshan for the Goddess costs 500 rupees.
Sparsha Darshan, where you can touch the Jyotirlinga, is not available as a separate ticket. It is only included in the Garbhalaya Abhishekam, which costs 5,000 rupees. This is the most exclusive experience. Slots are very limited. Book well in advance.
Abhishekam and Homam Timings for 2026
Rudra Homam is performed at 7:30 AM. Cost is 1,500 rupees. This fire ritual is for protection and removal of negative forces.
Chandi Homam is at 9:30 AM. Cost is 1,500 rupees. Dedicated to Goddess Bhramaramba. For inner strength and success.
Samuhika Abhishekam for couples is at 6:30 AM. Cost is 1,500 rupees. For marital harmony and happiness.
Mrityunjaya Homam timing varies daily. Cost is 1,500 rupees. For healing, protection, and long life.
Garbhalaya Abhishekam is performed inside the sanctum. Cost is 5,000 rupees. This includes Sparsha Darshan. Timing is early morning. Pre booking is mandatory.

How to Book Online
Online booking is the only reliable way to secure your darshan and seva slots. The official portal is easy to use. Do not use third party websites. They overcharge and sometimes sell fake tickets.
Visit the official Srisailam Devasthanam website. Register with your mobile number or email. Verify with OTP. Log in.
Select the darshan type or seva you want. Choose your preferred date and time slot. Morning slots from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM fill first. Afternoon slots are easier to get.
Enter devotee details. Name, age, gender. Upload a valid government ID proof. Aadhar card works best. Passport, PAN card, voter ID, and driving license are also accepted.
Proceed to payment. Pay using UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking. After successful payment, download your e ticket. Save a digital copy. Take a printed copy as well.
On the day of darshan, carry the e ticket and the original ID proof used during booking. The security will scan the QR code. You enter. The process is smooth.

How to Reach Srisailam Temple
By road is the most popular option. Hyderabad to Srisailam distance is about 215 kilometers. Drive takes 4.5 to 6 hours. The road goes through the Nallamala forest. The route is scenic but has restricted night travel. Plan your journey during daytime.
APSRTC and TSRTC operate regular buses from Hyderabad, Kurnool, and Vijayawada. Private buses and taxis are also available. The bus drop point is at the foothills. From there, either walk up or take a local auto.
By train, the nearest station is Markapur Road Railway Station, about 85 kilometers from Srisailam. From the station, take a taxi or bus. The drive takes about two hours. Markapur Road is connected to Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Guntur.
By air, the nearest airport is Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, about 195 kilometers away. From the airport, hire a taxi directly to Srisailam. The drive takes about 4 hours. Or take a bus from Hyderabad city.

Important Rules for Devotees
Mobile phones are strictly not allowed inside the temple premises. Leave them in your car or at the cloak room. There are no exceptions.
Photography and videography are completely prohibited inside the sanctum. Security personnel watch closely. Violators are asked to leave.
Traditional attire is compulsory. Men should wear dhoti, kurta, or formal pants with a shirt. Women should wear saree or salwar suit. Shorts and sleeveless tops are not allowed.
